For a fee, it appears Cisco's top executives will sign autographs and make an appearance

Cisco's shareholders can rejoice, for a fee it appears they can book Cisco's top executives to sign autographs and make an appearance!

Update: 8/7/2013

Cisco CEO John Chambers is still featured on the Celebrity Talent Promotions website as available for being paid to sign autographs and make appearances.

Update: 5/15/2012

Official comment posted by David McCulloch - Cisco's Director of Corporate Communications:

David McCulloch"Brad - As any reader who carefully reviews the 'Celebrity Talent Promotions' web site will notice, the company does not actually claim to represent any Cisco executives. This is because (surprise, surprise) it does NOT represent any Cisco executives, nor do any Cisco executives accept payments for public appearances as you infer, nor does Cisco retain any agency to provide such services. In short, your article is entirely misleading."

I sent an email to McCulloch asking him if he and Cisco will officially go on the record that no Cisco executive or Board Director has ever been paid a fee to speak or make an appearance.

According to a Wall Street Journal report on Thursday, Cisco's shareholders experienced a tough week.

Cisco Executive BiographiesCelebrity Talent PromotionsIn my opinion, should shareholders and the Board of Directors seek to rid Cisco of its "executive blowhards," a good list of candidates is featured on the Celebrity Talent Promotions website, as shown below:

Book Cisco CEO John Chambers for autograph signings and an appearance

My concerns about John Chambers:

Beware Cisco of how the mighty fall

Book Cisco SVP Inder Sidhu for autograph signings and an appearance

Biography of Cisco Senior Vice President: Inder Sidhu

My concerns about Inder Sidhu:

Is Cisco's hubris the subject of a new book?

Book Cisco Chief Technology Officer Padmasree Warrior for autograph signings and an appearance

Padmasree Warrior
Biography of Cisco Chief Technology Officer: Padmasree Warrior

My concerns about Padmasree Warrior:

Apple iPhone doubts of new Cisco CTO Padmasree Warrior 12 months ago

Visit Cisco's Mount Rushmore.

Interestingly, for a fee it appears the following 2 long time Cisco board members are also available to sign autographs and make appearances:

  1. 16-year Cisco director and long time lead independent director (since 2005) Carol Bartz, view my opinion on her leadership of Cisco's board of directors.
  2. 12-year Cisco director Jerry Yang.
I mean, if I was a Cisco shareholder, I'd definitely want to give these 2 "director blowhards" the boot.
