Falls Church      CHCS Systems Engineer

This is a Government position which requires U.S. Citizenship.

2-6 years of direct related experience supporting CHCS and AHLTA. Possess knowledge of the underlying framework of CHCS and AHLTA, not just the user interface. Should be able to handle unusual and seldom occurring job events with minimal supervision. A Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years experience in CHCS and AHLTA, or a combination of IT certifications and 4-6 years experience in CHCS and AHLTA. Manage daily activities and support of CHCS and AHLTA at the Advance Technology Integration Center, and work to ensure full life cycle management of all CITPO, RITPO, and TIMPO supported systems including AHLTA, CHCS, CACHE (EWSR), CCE, TOL, DBSS, CCE, TOL, DBSS, PSR, DEERS, PCMBN, CCQAS, NMIS, 3PC. Provide support for MSA1000 storage cabinet & Alpha Servers DS10s and GS140s. Support all CHCS modules to include but not limited to: MEPRS (Medical Expense Performance Reporting System), Common Files, WAM (Workload Assignment Module), RAD, LAB, Pharmacy, MRT (Medical Records Tracking), and provides Data Quality initiatives. Validates, updates, cleanup, maintain and resolve issues within CHCS and AHLTA Scope. Troubleshoot LAN/WAN network communications, operations, hardware and application software.

 
Falls Church      Mid-Level Systems Engineer

Requires U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Minimum 5 years performing in a Systems Engineering or Systems Administrative role.
Minimum 5 years working in a MS Windows environment.
Minimum 3 years performing in a Mid-Level Systems Engineering role.

Hands-on experience working with Microsoft operating systems (XP, W2k3, W2k). Hands-on experience with MS Active Directory, Domain Controller functionality, WINS; file backup systems, and government security practices. Hands-on experience in MS IIS and MS SQL that integrate with DoD PKI. Knowledge of IP based platforms and addressing, DHCP, DNS, Cisco products and technology, client/server computing. Some level of understanding in Windows script programming (e.g. Windows Host Scripting, SMS Script, VBScript, etc), and working with automated workstation patch management and deployment tools (e.g. SMS, Ghost, Acronis, iNode, Persystent Enterpise, etc.). Knowledge of paging and swapping, inter-process communications, file-system concepts (Inode, clustering, logical partitions), network monitoring systems, and security scanning tools (Retina, PGD). Aptitude to program in an administrative language, as well as prepare, test, and deploy scripts aimed at improving efficiencies or correcting problems. Ability to solve complex systems problems quickly with little technical guidance, and develop automated corrective measures. Strong interpersonal and written/oral communications skills; capable of interfacing with all levels of management, development engineers, Helpdesk team, and other technical and administrative departments. Skilled in trending chronic problems, engaging in capability planning, analyzing security events, as well as preparing the corresponding documentation. A Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or comparable experience.

 
Falls Church      Security Engineer

Requires U.S. Citizenship as well as an IT Level II or Secret Security Clearance.

CISSP and at least 3 years prior IT security experience. Experience in DITSCAP/DIACAP. Basic experience in network design, Windows Active Directory services, and Windows operating system. Proficient in designing cutting-edge technologies including relational, network, and hierarchical database designs, Web Services and Service Oriented Security Architecture. Project management experience desired. Security engineer should have familiarity with Air Force, DoD, Federal, DISA and other Information Assurance (IA). Knowledge of information systems technology such as computing platforms, systems integration, analysis and software architecture desired. Familiarity with Unix operating system is also desired. Ability to analyze network and system designs for potential security risks. Experience in network security (IDS, VPN, Firewall, PKI, cryptography), security controls for LAN/WANs, client server, web-based systems, and databases are desired. Skilled in managing Windows, UNIX, and government cryptographic systems. BA or BS Degree (Information/Computers preferred).

 
Falls Church      Security Operations Center Manager

Requires U.S. Citizenship as well as a minimum ADP-II security clearance; Secret is desired.

CISSP will be eventually required for all DoD contracts. Prior IT security experience - 3 years minimum. Superior writing skills. System and/or Network Security log review background. The Security Operations Center Manager report and provide updates to senior management. The Security Operations Center Manager must aggressively pursue outages, actively guide problems to quick resolution, interface proactively with customers, and focus on staff mentoring and development. Able to analyze security tool data from different sources such as PIX FW, Hercules, McAfee IPS, sys logs and more. Performing risk assessments on software and hardware systems. Thorough understanding of Windows environment and vulnerabilities. Create proactive processes to monitor and detect threats and trends in the IT environment. Work directly with the Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineering Group to assist with configuration and implementation of security related controls and security policy interpretation. Monitor and report, as well as advise and design systems, to enhance or increase security level of the IT environment and support the TMA mission. Be a subject matter expert (SME) on all DISA (Defense Information Security Agency) and DoD Regulations governing the network. BA or BS Degree.

 
Falls Church      Senior Network / Systems Engineer

This is a Government position which requires U.S. Citizenship.

Professional level vendor certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CCSP, MCSE, JNCIA, and SSCP/CISSP are highly desired.

Four to six years of broad experience is required in network management and design. In-depth understanding of Windows based systems and applications, network protocols, network and systems security are required. Additionally, the ability to configure and troubleshoot network devices and systems such as routers, switches and servers is mandatory. The Senior Network / Systems Engineer must also be able to document and communicate solutions and manage short and long-term projects as necessary. A Bachelor’s degree and 4-6 years experience, or a combination of certifications and 6-8 years experience in information technology, networking design, management, and implementation is required.
