DATA center consisting of around 1300 Cisco routers and Switches interconnected by Frame Relay,
ATM, HDLC, Leased lines (DDS,T1,T3), ISDN, SONET and other transports. Protocols used include
TCP/IP, Novell IPX, DLSW+, RIP, EIGRP, and OSPF. Analyze router configurations and network
requirements and provided design solutions. Assist and mentor junior staffs as they install and
configure new implementations. Use Cisco debugging commands and Network General Tools to
solve complex network problems. Research and implement new technologies and solution in a multiprotocol
production network. Test new versions of Cisco IOS and identify software bugs
• Responsible for providing expert solutions for design and implementation of a secure vendor WAN
TCP/IP environment at primary and secondary data center to provide load sharing and
automatic fail over in the event of a disaster at the primary or secondary data center. Also responsible
for providing guidance for the design of the enterprise routed network to provide full fault tolerance,
load sharing, and automatic fail over capabilities to support data over the IP network.
• Network design, configuration, and installation; configuration techniques that increase bandwidth,
improve response times, and enhance reliability and quality of service (QoS). Integrated network with
Voice, Video, and Data services. Install and configure Cisco Call Manager 4.0, CME, CMU, AAA
authentication server, and H.323 protocol, MGCP Gateway, Gatekeeper and Security in IP
Telephony. Implement CBWFQ/ mechanisms on the Cisco 2600/3600/3800/7200 to provide EF and
AF for voice and signaling traffic in the corporate network. Verify and deploy a comprehence QOS
features such as Trust Boundary, DiffServ, Queuing Disciplines, LFI and FR Traffic shaping, to
support VoIP by using Cisco MQC mechanism on Cisco 6500/4500/3750/3550 switch platform
• Extensive hands-on system configuration and integration on wide range of Cisco network products
including and not limited to Aironet 350, 1100, 1200, Cisco routers like 800, 1700, 2600, 3600, 3700,
7200, 7500, 7600 and GSR solution etc. Cisco Switches like 29xx, 35xx, 4000, 4500, 6500 (with
different type of SUPs), etc. and other Cisco products like Content Engines 560, 7300, VPN 3000,
PIX, IDS, CSM, NAM.

• Provide tier two 24X7 technical support to network infrastructure, the Business Technical and Majors
Account Technical Support Team for IP network covering across Canada
