India's telecom networks banish all non-Indian Cisco telecom network engineers as well as all non-Indian manufactured Cisco telecom network gear

Government of India - Department of Telecommunications

Well it's official, the Government of India - Department of Telecommunications, has banished all non-Indian Cisco telecom network engineers as well as all non-Indian manufactured Cisco telecom gear used for India's growing telecom networks.

In a letter dated last week on March 18 (see below), the Government of India has made it a criminal offense (see guideline viii below) for service providers in India to deploy non-Indian manufactured Cisco telecom network gear:
