![]() Andy Salo who in 1996 earned Cisco CCIE R&S #2323, is a small high-tech entrepreneur whom sometimes speaks out as a blogger on BradReese.ComFormerly, he was the Director of Product Management for the search engine vendor Inktomi, which was acquired by Yahoo! for $235 million in 2002. Andy also ran product marketing and launched the DataFort storage security appliance for storage security vendor Decru, which was acquired by NetApp for $272 million in 2005. At the intrusion prevention systems vendor TippingPoint, he ran product management and product marketing. TippingPoint was acquired by 3Com for $442 million in 2005. Andy then ran world-wide product and technical marketing for IT software management vendor SolarWinds which currently has a stock market capitalization of $2.1 billion. Finally, he is the owner of YigDigs, a real estate website that helps homeowners sell their homes without paying high commissions to real estate agents.
