![]() Subscribe to Bloggers speak out on BradReese.Com Is alleged inappropriate nepotism costing Cisco millions? "They hired people as contractors, billed Cisco at a higher rate and then pocketed about 40-50% of that money..." Wed, 7/25/12 - 11:59pm View comments
![]() High-living Cisco CEO John Chambers is not exactly the "poster boy" for corporate executive frugality and fiscal restraint, at least not in my opinion. And in the past, I've blogged about what appeared to me as being inappropriate nepotism involving Cisco CFO Frank Calderoni and his wife Brenda Zawatski:
![]() Fast-forward to this week, where appearing among the more than 200 comments posted to my blog story about the Cisco WAAS rumor, are comments alleging new inappropriate nepotism at Cisco:
"Cisco has been bleeding to disloyal employees. In a recent scenario, people from the same family (VP -Rami) and his sister-in-laws (last name Jabri -3 to be exact), his brother-in-laws wife and some of his brother-in-laws (also last name Jabri) are all working for Cisco, some in the same group. They hired people as contractors, billed Cisco at a higher rate and then pocketed about 40-50% of that money. This is currently being investigated by Cisco but not much will come out of it. This has been going on for a few years and the amount pocketed is in the million of dollars. My point is that Chambers and his people have lost total control and there is no accountability." Yet another comment alleged: "The whole IT group is corrupted with these Jabri sisters and their caretaker VP (Rami Mazid), I also heard from a reliable source that Cisco is investigating this and I sure hope some concrete actions are taken against these people. It seems the whole company knows about this stealing of millions of dollars but no one is willing to speak up. SPEAK UP CISCO EMPLOYEES!!"
