Update 8/18/10:     Cisco's August 2010 Guide is now shipping!

CiscoStarting June 28, Cisco will begin accepting pre-orders for the new August 2010 edition of the Cisco Product Quick Reference Guide. Below you can see the "cover art" for the new edition (view previous editions going back 12 years). Cisco's guide is a portable, easy-to-use reference tool that includes brief overviews, important features, specifications, part numbers, and ordering information for Cisco's products, services, and solutions. Additionally, keep in mind that the release date for hard copies will be August 9.

What's new in the August 2010 edition:

  • New section for Cisco architectures and solutions.

  • New Cisco 2000 series connected grid router and Cisco integrated services routers generation 2 (ISR G2).

  • New CRS-3 model for Cisco carrier routing system and new Cisco ASR 1013 model for the Cisco ASR 1000.

  • New Cisco 2500 series connected grid switches, new Cisco Catalyst 3750-X, Catalyst 3560-X, and Catalyst 2960-S series switches.

  • New product updates to Cisco Catalyst 6500, Catalyst 3750, and Catalyst 3560 switches.

  • New product updates to the Cisco digital media portfolio and universal broadband routers.

  • New Cisco LCD Professional Series displays, Cisco Show and Share, Cisco Pulse, and Cisco MXE 3500 and MXE 5600 media experience engines.

  • Two new chassis for the Cisco ONS 15454 MSTP: the M2 and M4; and new product updates to Cisco Transport Manager.

  • New Cisco Carrier IP NGN management solution and Cisco Network Building Mediator Manager; and new product updates to CiscoWorks LAN management solution, Cisco Unified Operations Manager, Cisco Unified Service Monitor, Cisco Unified Provisioning Monitor, and Cisco Unified Service Statistics Manager.
